Qualifications

Post secondary education in graphic design.
Previous work experience building standards-compliant web pages from the ground up would be great;

Job Description

Strong technical skills in a PC environment, and good working knowledge of Adobe CS3 (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver, CS2 okay) and Microsoft Office;
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript. A little bit of PHP and MS.NET will a great asset
Ability to understand the goal of each assignment and its requirements - both conceptually and technically;
The ability to work independently and/or collaboratively as a team under time constraints to meet production goals;
Strong organizational, planning and time management skills with an ability to effectively manage multiple assignments;
Detail oriented, conscientious, resourceful and reliable;
Actively identify new areas for learning, and regularly create and take advantage of learning opportunities to obtain new skills (advancements) with respect to graphic, web design, and related technical;
Interest in targeted, thoughtful design with a purpose, rather than design for design's sake. This is very important!
